What this app is
ha-server-backup is a personal tool used by one person, the owner of this domain, to store backups of their own home server in their own Google Drive. It has no other users.
What Google data it accesses
The app requests only the drive.file permission. With it, the app
can see and change only the files and folders it creates itself. It cannot
see, open, list or download any other file in the Google Drive account.
How the data is used
- The app uploads backup files and deletes its own backups once they are older than 60 days. Nothing else.
- Backups are encrypted on the home server before upload; the files stored in Google Drive cannot be read without a key that never leaves the owner.
- No data is sold, shared, transferred to third parties, or used for advertising, analytics or AI training.
Storage and security
The sign-in token Google issues to the app is stored only on the owner's home server, in a file readable by its administrator account alone.
Removing access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections. Revoking it stops all further access; files already uploaded stay in Google Drive until deleted.
Google API Services User Data Policy
This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
